WHAT WE DO
At OlHeart our Olive Oil is produced exclusively from the Olives of trees from the “Koroneiki” variety. The Koroneiki tree from the Messara region in Crete has been grown since the Minoan times.
The Messara region features a unique climate, which cannot be found anywhere else in Greece. This climate creates an excellent environment for olive cultivation. The harvest of the Koroneiki variety olive fruit begins in early December when the olive skin turns from yellow-green to red-purple, and half of its flesh turns the same colour. The best olives are selected, washed, and cold-pressed to produce our aromatic fruit-flavored oils, an essential ingredient in Greek cuisine!
